Inside Business Development Representative

Media Classified is seeking a talented Inside Business Development Representative with a proven track record of closing sales to join our growing and dynamic team.

Media Classified Corporation is an award-winning print and digital media company in Vaughan, Ontario. We publish an exciting line-up of publications that cover the rental, healthcare, education, employment, career training, parenting, and real estate markets.

Your Job Overview

• Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by managing, servicing and supporting existing clients.
• New business development through cold calling and setting appointments for presentations.
• Effectively following up on and closing supplied leads.
• Increasing the media buys of existing clients through integrated selling.
• Working with HubSpot CRM to log activity and maintain an up-to-date database.
• Coordinating with the production team and the client for ad material collection.

Must Have Skills and Qualifications

• Two years of inside and/or outside sales experience – advertising and media industry experience preferred.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and a positive, sales-oriented personality.
• The ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• A keen attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency. (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• The ability to work in a deadline-driven, print production and advertising environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of social media marketing
